You may be thinking "Why retain Songwriters Portal?". Why not do it myself? Because it very time consuming to enter each song to be distributed and requires a bit of expertise in knowing what to enter and where. If you make a mistake in submission, you will receive an email a few days later saying your submission was rejected. We have done this many times before. Global song distribution
Once we have your songs submitted. For global song distribution, it typically takes one month to start seeing your stats which includes the number of plays from distribution platforms and sales per unit from the digital stores who are selling your song(s). You will be able to view your stats by logging into your portal.There, you can view all songs status as soon as they become available. Royalty payments will normally begin after 3 months.

2. Pitching songs to MIPs

In addition to Song Distribution, song pitching is just as important, if not more so. Song Pitching addresses sending your music to Music Industry Pros (MIPs).
